Some cards I have been working on

Today, I have a couple cards to share that I have been working on. No videos today though. These were just fun cards that I didn't feel like doing videos for. Sorry!

First up, I have a thank you card for my mom. She came over and made sure our cats were alive and my fish got fed while we were on vacation for almost 2 weeks. Gotta love our moms who do anything for us, right?!

The flower stamp is from Spellbinders' Cool Vibes Collection by Stephanie Low. It's the Medium Peony stamp and die set. I masked and stamped the peony 3 times and colored it with a mix of Ohuhu and Master's Touch Alcohol Markers. I am not much of an alcohol marker artist, but I think this turned out quite well, if I don't say so myself! The Thank You sentiment is from Tonic Craft Kit #18. Then I used some Nuvo drops in Ebony Black and Ivory Seashell to finish it off.

Next up, I have a fun birthday card using Tonic Craft Kit #24. This is going to one of my adopted seniors. I belong to a facebook group, called From the Heart, that is dedicated to sending cards to seniors who are having a rough time or just in need of cheering up. Recently, the admin decided that since there were so many seniors on the list and quite a few probably weren't getting cards on a regular basis, that it might be a great idea to have members "adopt" seniors and commit to sending at least 1 card every month. I adopted 2 seniors. One of the ones I chose to adopt, has the same birthday as me and this is the card that I chose to make her. I think it is so fun and I hope that she likes it.

I ink blending 3 colors of Distress Oxides onto the frame die cut - Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord & Mermaid Lagoon, I think, with my blending brushes from Amazon. I mounted that on some Craft Perfect Nubula Glitter Cardstock. I cut the circle with stars die cut out of a pieces of Craft Perfect Silver Silk cardstock from the December Skies 6x6 paper pack. I also used that for the Happy Birthday sentiment. I used a piece of pearlized vellum to cut the Happy Birthday shadow. All the dies for this card came from the Tonic Craft Kit #24.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my projects today and have a great day!
