Sea Shell Shaped Card | Under the Sea Hop | #fridayunderthesea

Hey Procraftinators! Today, is day two of the Under the Sea Hop! Today's hashtag is #fridayunderthesea See a trend here? Anyways, today, I am sharing a fun sea shell shaped card. I kinda feel like I may have cheated with this one. I didn't do a single bit of stamping here. I found some stickers in my stash that I bought on clearance at Hobby Lobby who knows when and decided to use them up. Well, at least some of them. They didn't all fit. I made a sea shell shaped card on my Cricut. I didn't include that in the video as it was fairly simple to do and many people don't seem to actually watch my screencast tutorials, according to analytics. If enough people seem to want to see it by requests in the comments, I can do a separate video. However, it's just kinda frustrating, on my part, to see people skip over it in my analytics. I only have so much time and energy to do this stuff and it's discouraging to not see it enjoyed.

Anyways, I started by adding a little ink blending with Distress Ink in Abandoned Coral to my card base, just to add a little dimension to my shell. Then, I glued down the Craft Perfect Pearlescent Cardstock in Princess Pink, which was the decorative pieces of my shell card. After that, I picked out which dimensional stickers I wished to use. I started placing them down and then realized that I had better glue down the banner that I had created in Design Space, before I didn't have room for it. The banner image is #M458B3 in Design Space and I used the font called Fontastic. I curved it slightly to match the banner. Easy peasy! I made a matching banner the same way for the inside. After gluing down the banner to the outside, I filled in the rest of the outside with the stickers. Then, I moved to the inside to decorate it. I started by putting the banner down first this time and then putting the stickers around it. Even though, I obviously put less on the inside so there would be room to write and inside greeting to the recipient. That finished off this quick and simple card.
