Dancin' Snowmen Interactive Cards

Hey Procraftinators! Who doesn't love a good interactive card? I know I do! Today, I am sharing the Dancin' Snowman from Spellbinders. These were so fun to put together and honestly, weren't too terribly hard either!

Since there were so many little pieces to theses cards and they were interactive, I decided to keep the cards themselves fairly simple and let the interactive portion of the card shine. So, I didn't do my usual ink blending or anything fancy in that regards. I decided to use patterned paper as my background. I literally got out pretty much every nesting die that I owned and chose two of the larger or largest sizes that I owned in various different ones and cut the smaller one out of a patterned Christmas paper from various Christmas paper pads that I have and then found a coordinating color of solid cardstock and cut the larger die from that to place my snowman on. Then, I plopped myself in front of the tv and got to work assembling my all my snowmen.

Once I was done, I used my Betterpress to press some sentiments with VersaFine Clair inks using Yana's Christmas Sentiments, which is a Glimmer Hot Foil Plate set. Yes, I do use Glimmer Plates in my Betterpress system, even though Spellbinders does not recommend it. I have not had an issue doing this. I also used the coordinating dies to cut out the sentiments.

I assembled my cards using foam tape to apply the snowmen, so that there legs would dance. I do believe there are videos on the Spellbinders channel on how to assemble the Dancin' characters, but I didn't find them too hard to figure out. I used the Dancin' Holiday Sentiments stamp set for my inside sentiment. To finish off the card, I used some die cut snowflakes from some older Spellbinders sets, Deck the Halls and Holiday Decorations and cut those out of Tim Holtz Ideal-ology Metallics Kraft-stock to embellish the front of the card.
